Where is the Google Docs mobile killer app?
At least one or two times a week I am somewhere without my notebook but with my iPhone and in the need of editing a text in Google Docs. Unfortunately, that's not possible.
You can view and edit spreadsheets, but you can only view text files, not edit them. For Android, there is an app called GDocs, but even this one is far from complete with many limitations. I don't know why Google hasn't implemented full, cross platform editing functionality to Google Docs yet, but for me, this is the single most desired Google feature of all. Some month ago I completely abandoned Microsoft Word in favour of Google Docs, mainly because I am using multiple computers. But since smartphones increasingly take the role of computers, office capabilities become a must. There are some office apps for the iPhone, but because I am already working with Google Docs, I would love to see Google adding full editing features soon. A dedicated, official Google Docs app for Android, iPhone & co would be a killer!
