26 apps that I'm using every day

Michael Arrington inspired me: Over at netzwertig.com I published a list of 23 web/software apps that I'm using on a daily basis. Here is the list in brief (plus 3 more services I did forget in the original article):

Aardvark
Great social q&a tool.

Digsby
Although kind of limited, still my Twitter client of choice (using it for Facebook, too).

Diigo
Innovative and feature rich social bookmarking service.

Doit.im
Chinese task management tool based on Adobe AIR. Clone of Mac software Things but as a PC user I don't mind.

Dropbox
The service of my choice for storing files in the cloud and syncing them between different devices.

Facebook

Foursquare
One of the two location based social networks I'm using.

Google Chrome
Googles ultra fast and light browser.

Google Docs
Googles online office suite.

Google Reader
That's where I'm living in when being online: Googles RSS reader.

Gowalla
The second location based social network I'm using. In my eyes Gowalla is a little better than Foursquare.

IMDb
Internet Movie Database by Amazon. Hardly a day goes without me checking out some movie information or actor.

Last.fm
Although I hardly use Last.fm actively, it is still busy "scrobbling" the songs I'm listening to.

Linguee
Very well performing translation tool for German-English/ English-German.

Thunderbird
Conservative as I am, I still prefer a desktop based email software over a web app.

play.fm
Great site offering 15.000 dj mixes for free streaming. If you are into electronic music you should check it out.

Posterous
I usually do visit this blog once a day, even when I don't publish something new. Posterous is great.

Rivva
German blog and news aggregator. More about Rivva.

Skype
Free text and voice chat, SkypeOut, SkypeIn... I use it all.

Spotify
No day without enjoying music via Spotify.

Tweetdeck (iPhone)
Unlike many others, I prefer Tweetdeck over Tweetie 2 as my iPhone Twitter app of choice.

Wikipedia

Since I'm a big fan of reading blogs on a daily basis, Wordpress shouldn't be absent on this list.

If you have a lot of business contacts in the German speaking countries, there is no alternative to Xing at the moment.

Amazing Outlook plug-in for better email management. I use it at work and it saves me a lot of time and energy.
